Kelly Olynyk 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoMiami Heat power forward/center Kelly Olynyk is fresh off a summer that saw him suffer a bone bruise with the Canadian Men's National Team in an exhibition game that saw him withdraw from the World Cup. There is a slight chance he could miss the start of training camp, but we can assume he will 100% come the Heat's season tipoff. Olynyk is coming off a season that saw his numbers dip across the board while playing similar minutes to the prior season. The Heat's rotations are sometimes hard to figure out, but with the addition of Jimmy Butler, Olynyk provides floor spacing at both the four and five. With James Johnson being the only other true power forward on the roster, we can assume Olynyk should continue to get minutes in the lower 20's. He is worth an add in the later rounds for his potential do a bit of everything and he may get the opportunity to be a top-100 player this season
