Keke Coutee 2020 Outlook: Another Unproductive Season?
5 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Keke Coutee spent last year in the dog house. He was a healthy scratch multiple times throughout the season. Coutee could only manage to catch 22 balls for 254 yards. He’s a player who showed a lot of promise as a rookie but ultimately fizzled out the following year. The Texans made a lot of changes to their receiving corps this offseason. They traded away DeAndre Hopkins, who is arguably one of the best wide receivers in the league. Then they added Randle Cobb and Brandin Cooks to their roster. Coutee will face added competition for playing time. There’s a good chance he could be left on the outside looking in. Cobb is expected to takeover Coutee’s former role in the slot. He will more than likely be just a role player in 2020. With an ADP of 318.08, he is going undrafted in most fantasy drafts. He is best left on the waiver wire, considering he may not see enough playing time to be fantasy relevant. If he gets the opportunity to play, then he could be a trendy waiver wire add later in the season.
