Karl-Anthony Towns Drops 50 Points In All-Star Game
10 months agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns led all scorers in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday despite the West suffering a 211-186 loss to the East. Towns registered 50 points on 23-for-35 shooting and 4-for-13 from beyond the arc. He also finished with eight rebounds, three assists, and one turnover. Towns, along with the rest of the Western Conference All-Stars, couldn't shoot the three at the same clip as the East as they hit 17 fewer shots from deep. The Timberwolves star still delivered a big scoring night without the three-point barrage like the MVP Damian Lillard. Towns and the Timberwolves will look to hold on to their number-one seed in the West down the stretch of this season.
