In 1:45 of action, Silva tallied three significant strikes compared to none being landed by Ketlen Souza. Silva immediately brought the contest to the mat. Working her way down, Silva locked onto her opponent's leg and earned a leg lock for the win. The victory moved her to 2-0 in the UFC. She has finished three out of her four fights by submission. In her last bout, Silva defeated Ariane Lipski via unanimous decision. DraftKings sees Silva as the favorite with a salary of $9,200. 11 months agoKarine Silva picked up a decision win over Ariane Lipski on the main card of UFC Vegas 91 on Saturday. It's the first time in the Brazilian's career she won a fight on the scorecards. This was a closely contested fight, where Silva edged out a decision win by taking Lipski down five times and by having better spells of control on the mat.
