Justin Turner Not Expected To Play This Weekend
Justin Turner (abdomen) is not expected to play during his team's series against the San Francisco Giants this weekend. Turner felt something in his abdominal region during Thursday's game while he was taking practice swings in the on-deck circle. The good news is that it doesn't appear that the injury is significant enough to require a stay on the injured list for Turner. Turner is hitting .253 with eight homers, 41 runs, 53 RBI, and a steal on the season. Max Muncy is in the lineup at third base and hitting fifth on Friday.
