Justin Crawford Drives in Four in Three-Hit Game
Justin Crawford continues to impress at Triple-A, notching his second consecutive three-hit game for Lehigh Valley on Sunday, driving in four runs and scoring twice in the process. The 21-year-old also swiped a bag, the third straight game he's done so. The former first-round draft pick is slashing .338/.407/.438 through 49 games, and although he's got just one home run, the left-handed hitter has 11 doubles and three triples on the season, so the ability to hit for extra bases is in his bat. Perhaps his best tool is his speed, though, now with 20 steals on the season after stealing at least 42 bases in each of the last two campaigns. Crawford could be up in the big leagues by the All-Star break, and fantasy managers in need of some help in the stolen base department should start to consider stashing the Phils' third-ranked prospect, as once he's up, he could be there to stay.
