Julio Urias Will Not Be Charged By Prosecutors
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias is not going to be charged for domestic abuse by the Los Angeles City Attorney's office. Urias was arrested on May 13 when he was involved in an altercation with a woman at a mall. Urias is required to spend a year in a counseling program while avoiding any acts of violence in order for the charges to remain withheld. Major League Baseball, meanwhile, is still investigating the incident and could choose to use disciplinary action on Urias. This is good news for Urias for now, yet fantasy owners can continue to leave him on waivers as his role with the Dodgers is too minor at this point.
