Julianna Pena Tries To Reclaim Bantamweight Title At UFC 307
2 months agoJulianna Pena (10-5) is set to take on Raquel Pennington for the women's bantamweight title in the co-main event of UFC 307. Pena hasn't fought since July of 2022 when she lost a decision to Amanda Nunes to lose her bantamweight title after she scored a stunning upset win over Nunes the fight prior to win the title. Pena enters UFC 307 as the underdog as DraftKings has her at a salary of $7,800. In the UFC, Pena is 7-3 with four wins by stoppage while she's been finished twice by submission. If Pena is going to win, she likely will have to use her wrestling to control the fight and possibly earn a stoppage. If Pena wins, her first title defense would be against the winner of Kayla Harrison vs. Ketlen Vieira.
