Josh Okogie Grabs Double-Double In Start
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Josh Okogie had a double-double starting in place of injured wing Andrew Wiggins (thigh) on Wednesday night. Okogie had some spectacular plays, but that didn't lead to a lot of fantasy success. He scored just 10 points on 4-for-13 shooting, to go along with his 11 rebounds, two three-pointers, one block, and one assist. He did play 27 minutes though, so if Wiggins were to miss more time it appears Okogie will be the starting shooting guard. He should shoot better against most teams too, as he had a tough time being guarded by the Toronto Raptors suffocating wing defenders Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard. If Wiggins is to miss more team Okogie looks like a strong short-term stream option for owners. However, Wiggins injury isn't serious so he may be back for their Friday night tilt against the Milwaukee Bucks.
