Josh Jung Taking Live Batting Practice Tuesday
6 months agoTexas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung (wrist) will take live batting practice on Tuesday after he was shut down for the weekend due to wrist soreness. He could be activated off of the injured list as soon as Tuesday if all goes well in the session. Jung went 4-for-17 with five strikeouts during his four-game rehab stint at Triple-A Round Rock. He has been sidelined since fracturing his wrist way back on April 1, but his return seems imminent. Upon activation, Jung will serve as the team's primary third baseman and offer solid power numbers for fantasy managers. The 26-year-old slashed .266/.315/.467 with 23 home runs and 70 RBI across 122 games last season. He should be owned in all fantasy formats once he is back.
