5 years agoCleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez (hand) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Sunday. Ramirez suffered a fractured hamate bone in his right hand during a swing on Saturday. He is scheduled to have surgery on Monday, so the Indians will have a better timetable after that. Ramirez is likely done for the rest of the regular season, so fantasy owners can go ahead and get ready to drop him. Yu Chang has been recalled from Triple-A to take the spot on the active roster. Chang will bat seventh and play third base versus lefty Eric Skoglund. Chang won't have much fantasy value as he'll likely split time at third base with Mike Freeman.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
