Jordan Love Lackluster In Week 9 Loss Against Lions
1 month agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) was good to go to play in Week 9 after two limited practices and a questionable tag, but he was lackluster in the Packers' 24-14 loss at home to the Detroit Lions. Love was 23-of-39 passing for 273 yards, but did not throw a touchdown pass for the first time this season and threw an interception which led to a return for a touchdown by Kerby Joseph that broke the game open at the end of the first half. While Love was not sacked, he was pressured from the jump by the Lions' defense and fumbled the ball three times, but he didn't turn the ball over on those instances. The Packers get their bye at a great time as Love can rest up during Week 10 before heading to take on their oldest rival, the Chicago Bears, in Week 11. A healthy Love is still in the fantasy QB1 conversation despite Week 9's misstep.
