Jordan Lawlar Collects Three Hits, Drives in Two on Sunday
Jordan Lawlar went 3-for-5 with two RBI on Sunday at Triple-A Reno. Arizona's top-ranked prospect has hit well since coming off the injured list on August 14, a continuation of his hot hitting from earlier in the year. The 23-year-old is 11-for-36 (.306) in the eight games since his return, including two doubles, a triple, a home run, and two stolen bases. He was caught stealing on Sunday, too, but it appears he has full confidence in his hamstring. With Eugenio Suarez out of the picture and Blaze Alexander just 6-for-40 (.150) over his last 11 games, Lawlar could finally see some regular playing time with the big league club down the stretch if he gets the call. It seems there will always be injury concern for Lawlar, but the former first-rounder should still have 20/20 potential in 2026.
