Nashville Predators right wing Jonathan Marchessault tallied four points during their victory over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday evening. Marchessault would tack on his first point with the secondary assist on Justin Barron's third goal of the season in the second frame. In the third, Marchessault scored in the opening minute and tacked on two more helpers, one of them coming on the power-play. This stellar showing also extended his current point streak to nine games. During this stretch, he has tallied 12 points (two goals, ten helpers), with five of them coming on the power-play. The 34-year-old has begun to turn the corner on a slow start as he has tallied 25 points over his previous 18 contests. He will look to extend this scoring streak to ten games on Thursday evening in San Jose.--Andy Smith
