Memphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas (ankle) said his goal is to be ready for the regular season opener against the Miami Heat on October 23. Valanciunas has been shut down for the preseason, but believes he'll be ready to start the season. He could move down a few spots on draft boards because it's unclear when he'll actually be ready.
