Jon Gray Melts Down In Sixth
7 years agoColorado Rockies ace starting pitcher Jon Gray cruised through five innings of work against the Washington Nationals on Saturday, but it all fell apart for him in the sixth. Four singles in a row started the madness, and an overturned tag play opened the door for the Nats. A bases-clearing double by rookie Moises Sierra was the final nail in Gray's coffin, and he was replaced by Antonio Senzatela. Gray has been erratic so far in the young season, and for now, most owners should probably sit him unless absolutely necessary until he finds his rhythm.
