John Means Turns In Strong Start Wednesday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means pitched well yet again in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Tigers. Means pitched six innings, allowing one run on three hits and no walks with seven strikeouts, taking a no-decision. The 26-year-old is now 5-4 on the season with a 2.80 ERA, 45 strikeouts, and 15 walks in 54 2/3 IP. He has been successful this season, but his lack of strikeouts and 4.73 SIERA are troubling. Means is currently just 34% owned, so most fantasy players are not buying into him. However, for those who do own him, it would not be a bad idea to attempt to sell high on him before he starts to regress.
