John Means Turns In Another Strong Start Sunday
John Means put forth a great effort in Sunday's 1-0 extra-innings loss to the Rangers. Means pitched seven innings, allowing no runs on just three hits and no walks with nine strikeouts. Unfortunately, his offense could not give him any support. The 27-year-old is looking like his 2019 self, compiling a stellar 1.52 ERA with six walks and 23 strikeouts over his first 23 2/3 IP this season. Means will likely make his next start against a decent A's matchup at home.
