2 years agoWashington Capitals defenseman John Carlson (lower body) has been ruled out of Monday's game against Edmonton. He has returned to practice after sitting out four games, but Carlson has been wearing a non-contact jersey, so he still needs some time to recover. Washington has lost multiple forwards to injury this season and the injury bug is now biting the blue line, with Dmitry Orlov (lower body) also possibly out Monday. He's a game-time decision after getting hurt against Arizona on Saturday.
