7 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid went off against the Celtics on Thursday, dropping an effective 26 points (10-for-19) in 34 minutes of action. Embiid was a monster on the glass, pulling down a game-high 16 boards on the night. He even showed Celtics center Al Horford up on the passing side of things, going home with six assists on the night. The newly appointed All-Star was a defensive presence in this one as well, swatting two shots while coming away with one steal, too. As usual, Embiid piled up a lot of turnovers, keeping pace with his season average of four in the winning effort. Regardless of the turnovers, Embiid is a fantasy stud and will surely impress us again on Saturday against the Bucks.--Matthew Thomas
