8 months agoDetroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard allowed three goals on 39 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. The veteran netminder kept the youthful Red Wings team in the game with plenty of big saves. It was an extra-impressive performance considering there were four rookies on defense for the Red Wings. Howard usually starts off the season on a strong note but struggles to stay healthy. If he can avoid injury, he can be a serviceable streaming option for fantasy managers. --Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
