The New York Jets are hiring Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to be the organization's next head coach, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter. The 52-year-old has been rumored to be the lead candidate for much of the offseason, and he lands with New York less than a week after the Lions were knocked out of the playoffs in the NFC Divisional Round. Glenn led the No. 7 scoring defense and No. 5 rushing defense in 2024 despite Detroit dealing with a significant number of injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Glenn will be tasked with setting New York on the right path and breaking a 14-year postseason drought, which is the longest active streak in the NFL. Glenn will have plenty of defensive talent to work with right away, but the team will need to address the offense and the future of four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
