Carolina Hurricanes center Jesperi Kotkaniemi scored twice in their 2-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday evening. Kotkaniemi would open the scoring in the second frame with a snap shot. Later in the third, Kotkaniemi would score the game-winner on a deflection. He logged three total shots on goal and one hit during this contest. The 24-year-old has now tallied four points (three goals, one helper) over his previous four games. Prior to this stretch, he was riding a six-game scoreless drought. While Kotkaniemi typically plays on the second line, he has struggled to produce consistently throughout the season. Through 48 contests, he has scored just 22 points. He remains a high-risk play in DFS contests and should only be started in deeper formats.--Andy Smith
