Jerome Ford A Low-End RB2 In Week 6
2 months agoCleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford has seen his workload fluctuate throughout the first five games of the season. He saw the majority of the work in Weeks 1, 3, and 4 while operating in a timeshare with D'Onta Foreman in the other two weeks. With Nick Chubb (knee) already ruled out for Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Ford will have at least another week to lead the Cleveland backfield. The Eagles have been tough against running backs this season, allowing just the 26th-most fantasy points per game to the position through four games. Ford has some upside as a pass catcher but the Cleveland offense has really struggled to sustain drives this season. That fact, coupled with Ford's inconsistent workload from week to week, leaves him on the RB2/RB3 borderline in fantasy heading into Week 6.
