Jeremy Swayman Nullifies Winnipeg
2 years agoBoston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman posted his third shutout of the season as the team cruised past Winnipeg 3-0 on Thursday. It was a busy night for Swayman, with the Bruins allowing 36 shots on goal, but the 24-year-old netminder showed off great form and is now 17-6-4 for the campaign. Swayman has recorded a 2.28 goals-against average and has a .917 save percentage. Linus Ullmark has gotten more usage during the season, but Boston has now used different goalies in 12 consecutive games, so Swayman has also started to see regular action, and the pattern should continue for the rest of the regular season, with the Bruins basically having the Presidents' Trophy already locked up and trying to keep both goaltenders fresh for the playoffs.
