Houston Astros shortstop Jeremy Pena (rib) was able to take part in a live batting session on Saturday. Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters Pena took seven at-bats and they all went well. Pena continues to work his way back from a ribs issue that has sidelined him since late June. The hope is that Pena is able to begin a rehab assignment soon. If that happens, Pena could be back in the Astros lineup by early August. Fantasy managers will need to stay tuned for more updates.--Andy Webb
