Jerad Eickhoff To Throw Live Batting Practice Saturday

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jerad Eickhoff (hand) is scheduled to throw live batting practice on Saturday. He has been out all season dealing with a tingling sensation in his fingers. Manager Gape Kapler said that their plan is to make sure Eickhoff feels healthy and can execute his pitches before determining a return date. However, if he's able to stay healthy, perhaps the Phillies starter could return in mid-to-late August. Last season, Eickhoff pitched to a 4-8 record with a 4.71 ERA and a 118/53 K/BB ratio.
