7 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jerad Eickhoff will see Dr. Robert Thompson regarding the twinge in his right index and middle fingers he felt during his latest rehab start. Dr. Thompson is a vascular surgeon who specializes in Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS). TOS is the worst injury a pitcher can go through and has derailed many careers so this is not good news for Eickhoff . He also experienced nerve irritation in his right hand last August that ended his 2017 season. Eickhoff has been out all season with a lat strain and does not seem to be coming back anytime soon.--Feldman Zach
