Jaylen Brown Scores Season-High 36 Points
2 years agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown posted a season-high 36 points in Sunday's win over Washington, shooting 13-for-23 from the field with an 8-for-8 record at the line. He hit two three-point bombs with seven attempts and grabbed five rebounds while picking up two assists with two turnovers in 34 minutes. Brown was able to enjoy all the spotlight, with Jayson Tatum (ankle) sitting out the contest. It's his best scoring night since opening the campaign with a 35-point effort versus Philadelphia. Boston plays again on Monday, and according to reports, Tatum has been dealing with a left ankle sprain for a while, so there's a chance that he sits out once more, which will make Brown a no-brainer choice for managers.
