Jaylen Brown Finally Breaks Out Of Slump
6 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown finally broke out of his horrid shooting slump against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday. He scored a game-high 19 points, on 6-for-13 shooting, and hit on 3-of-7 shots from downtown. Brown added two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block, in his 24 minutes of work. It's been a trying season for Brown so far, as he looks lost on the court, while the Celtics try and figure out an offensive system. In the three games leading up to this one, he scored just 18 points, on a dreadful 5-for-26 shooting. Brown is still a hold in standard leagues, but he may have some more rough patches before nights like Saturday become semi-consistent with him. Hopefully Brown can keep it up when he faces the Pistons again on Tuesday night.
