6 months agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez is back in the lineup on Thursday night and will bat fifth for the Cubs against Milwaukee after missing the last two games with a sore thumb. Baez had injured his thumb while sliding on Sunday afternoon, and had been replaced by Addison Russell for the Cubs' series with Seattle. Baez had been hitting .235 with a .757 OPS over his last 10 games prior to the injury, and he will look to get back on track in the series opener in Milwaukee.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
