Jasson Dominguez Placed On The Injured List
6 months agoNew York Yankees outfield prospect Jasson Dominguez (undisclosed) was placed on the seven-day injured list on Sunday, per Conor Foley of the YES Network. Currently, it is unknown what injury the top prospect in the Yankee system is dealing with and how much time he may miss. The 21-year-old was recently activated from the 60-day injured list after undergoing Tommy John surgery last fall and was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. This is unfortunate news, as the budding superstar was nearing a return to the major leagues. The switch-hitting center fielder showcased his elite talent in a small eight-game sample size in the Bronx last season with a .258 average, four long balls, and one stolen base. He looked just as dominant during his rehab assignment with a .385/.404/.609 slash line and six home runs. Dominguez should remain stashed in all keeper and dynasty leagues and is worth holding onto in deeper redraft formats as well.
