Jason Myers Makes 55-Yarder
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers got off to a rocky start by pushing a 56-yard attempt wide right, but just before the end of the first half on Thursday, Myers was able to sneak a 55-yarder inside the right upright. Myers lost last year's kicking competition to Sebastian Janikowski, but after a Pro Bowl season with the Jets, the Seahawks decided to take a do-over and give the job to Myers this year. Myers showed that he had plenty of leg in the team's first preseason game, and he should be a solid placekicker for a team that puts up a lot of points. Expect Myers to be a good contributor this season.
