Jared Goff Average In Week 5 Defeat
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff threw 29 completions on 49 attempts for 295 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the team’s 30-29 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. Again, as is the case with all of Goff’s performances, he was both impressive (hitting Robert Woods on a perfect pass to set up a potential game-winning field goal) and mediocre (overthrowing Cooper Kupp multiple times on possible touchdown opportunities). However, the Rams have continued to rely on Goff’s arm, and despite a short week, head coach Sean McVay had his quarterback throw nearly 50 times. Considering that Goff’s volume will most likely continue to support high passing yardage numbers, fantasy owners should continue to expect Goff to have a low-end QB1 ceiling.
