James Washington Has Great Upside In Week 3
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver James Washington caught just two balls for 23 yards in Week 2, but Week 3 presents an intriguing matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. His former college quarterback, Mason Rudolph, is now throwing to him full-time for the Steelers and if preseason usage has any backing, then this connection should continue to prosper. Washington will likely draw a lot of Richard Sherman in coverage, which could scare away Rudolph from looking his friends way. However, Washington hosts a 22.1 average depth of target, the fourth highest in the NFL so far. Expect Rudolph to look his way often, potentially even finding pay dirt. Washington can be considered a WR5 with WR3 upside in Week 3.
