San Francisco Giants outfield prospect James Tibbs III has been promoted to High-A Eugene. The 21-year-old left-handed batter hit .415/.429/.512 in nine Single-A games before earning his promotion. The Florida State product was the No. 13 pick in this year's MLB Draft. Tibbs went 0-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in his debut for Eugene. The Giants' No. 3 prospect is an advanced hitter and could progress quickly through the minors. The potential is there for a debut with the Giants as soon as next year, but 2026 could be the most likely timetable.
