6 months agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Jakob Junis struggled against the Indians on Friday, throwing 94 pitches in just four innings. Junis was tagged for four earned runs and took the loss after KC only scored one. Junis allowed six hits and two walks in the short outing, but he also struck out four. That gives him 16 strikeouts over his last 16 1/3 innings pitched, and while this outing was a loser, he was working off three straight quality starts before this. With the Athletics, Tigers, and Marlins on the horizon, Junis could actually be prepped to have a good run over the next couple weeks.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
