Jakob Junis Goes Six Innings Against Rangers
6 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Jakob Junis picked up the win on Thursday by throwing six good innings against Texas. Junis struck out seven and allowed two earned runs over the six frames, both on solo home runs. The win gives Junis four on the season, and he's starting to settle into a groove as a back-end starter. He's not worth a roster spot in most leagues, but he could be used as a spot starter in deep leagues. His start against the Red Sox next week would not be one of those recommended spot starts though.
