Jakob Junis Chased Early By Twins
5 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Jakob Junis was off his game on Sunday when the Twins ran him out after just 2 2/3 innings pitched. Junis allowed eight baserunners in the short outing, though he did strike out five as well. He was left with a no-decision after KC made a comeback and ended up winning the game. Junis has alternated quality starts and stinkers over his last four outings, and he's clearly not able to be depended on for anything substantial. He'll face the Twins again later this week, but he still shouldn't be started against one of the league's best offenses.
