7 months agoThe Arizona Diamondbacks activated first baseman/third baseman Jake Lamb (quadriceps) from the 10-day injured list ahead of Wednesday's game with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He managed to hit just .179 across 12 minor-league rehab games. "I feel good," Lamb said. "I was hitting some balls hard and didn't really have anything to show for it. It was more just my mentality at the plate." He returns to Arizona with Christian Walker playing well at first, and Eduardo Escobar humming along at third. Escobar might shift to second base to accommodate Lamb's return. Fantasy owners will want to see Lamb knock off the rust before trusting him in the active lineup again.--Daniel E. Dobish - RotoBaller
