Jake Irvin Strikes Out 10 Batters
6 months agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Jake Irvin made easy work of the Colorado Rockies during Sunday's outing. Irvin allowed one run on three hits over six innings in a no-decision. The 27-year-old did everything he could even striking out 10 batters during this outing. His only mistake was allowing a solo home run to Michael Toglia in the second inning. Irvin continues to be a bright spot for the Nats this season. He should be a solid streaming option against the Tampa Bay Rays during his next outing.
