Miami Dolphins pass rusher Jaelan Phillips (knee), who was placed on injured reserve last week, was diagnosed with a partially torn ACL, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We did not know Phillips' specific injury when he announced his season was over, but now we have a confirmed diagnosis. Phillips will require full ACL reconstruction surgery and could still be ready for the 2025 season. Nevertheless, this is a major blow for both Miami and its talented defender. Injuries have been a burden on Phillips' promising, young career; he tore his Achilles on the MetLife Stadium turf in 2023.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
