Buffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel ended a career-worst seven-game point drought with his 36th goal of the season on Monday, helping the team to a 3-2 shootout win over Washington. The Sabres captain netted on a power play at the start of the second period, with Rasmus Dahlin and Rasmus Ristolainen providing the assists. Dahlin also picked up a helper on Victor Olofsson's 20th goal of the season. Eichel has cooled off a lot lately, but he already has a career-high in goals and he's also close to a new record in points. The 23-year-old is just five short of surpassing last year's 82 points. He could easily do it this week, with three more games coming up for Buffalo.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
