Jack Bech Hard to Trust After Zero Offensive Snaps
Las Vegas Raiders rookie wide receiver Jack Bech did not see the field in Sunday's overtime loss to the Jaguars outside of his 12 special teams snaps. With Jakobi Meyers being dealt to those same Jaguars on Tuesday, there is a theoretical path for Bech to become more involved in a Raiders offense that was seemingly rejuvenated by the return of a healthy Brock Bowers. Unfortunately, even with Bowers and Meyers both missing time earlier this year, Bech's usage has been inconsistent and underwhelming. On a day that fellow rookie Dont'e Thornton was a healthy inactive, Bech was a non-factor, and he's best left for someone else to claim off waivers. This offense is built to run through Bowers, and any secondary role will likely be filled by Tre Tucker or newly acquired veteran Tyler Lockett, who was on the field for nearly 30% of the team's offensive snaps in his first game as a Raider.
