Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin helped to set up two goals Sunday when the team suffered a painful 4-3 shootout loss against Vancouver. The Hurricanes were 3-2 up heading into the final couple of minutes when Slavin had helped Jordan Martinook and Sebastian Aho to score, but the Canucks tied the game with just 17 seconds left in regulation and the team had to settle for just one point. Slavin doesn't generally contribute regularly on offense, but he has now recorded two multi-point efforts in three games. He has managed three goals and 12 assists in total across 44 outings with 74 shots, 26 hits and 69 blocks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
