J.T. Compher On Track To Return To Action Saturday
Detroit Red Wings forward J.T. Compher (upper body) is expected to rejoin the action on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Compher has missed five games with an upper-body injury. The versatile forward skated on the fourth line and worked with the second power-play unit during Friday's practice. Compher's last appearance also came against the Lightning, where he dished out an assist in a 2-0 win on Jan. 25. He has tallied 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 48 games across the campaign. Since the turn of the year, Compher has amassed only two points in 12 appearances, making him an unattractive fantasy piece.
