Free agent goaltender Ivan Prosvetov has decided to cut ties with the NHL and move back to Russia, signing a three-year contract with three-time KHL champions CSKA Moscow. This marks the end of a very long stay in North America for Prosvetov. After leaving his homeland, he first suited up for the Minnesota Magicians in the NAHL in 2016-17. Prosvetov made his NHL debut in 2020-21 with the Arizona Coyotes, who selected him in the fourth round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. He spent the 2023-24 campaign in the Colorado Avalanche organization, going 4-3-1 in eight starts in the NHL and 11-7-2 with the Colorado Eagles in the AHL. Prosvetov's full NHL record reads 8-9-2. He posted a 3.70 goals-against average for his career with a .881 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
