Is Kyle Larson An Easy Recommendation For The Charlotte Roval?
2 months agoKyle Larson will start Sunday's Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway's Roval course from the sixth position after qualifying. Since joining Hendrick Motorsports in 2021, this is the highest start position to date for Larson at the Charlotte Roval. In five previous races at the Roval, Larson has only one win, but four finishes outside of the Top 10 while gaining positive Place Differential twice overall. After completing 30 races this season, Larson has five wins (most of all drivers), 15 top-10 finishes, and led 1,551 laps (most of all drivers). At road and street courses, Larson has just one top-10 finish, but it was his win at Sonoma Raceway. In first practice, Larson ranked sixth in five consecutive lap averages and fifth in overall lap averages while in final practice, he was eighth in overall lap averages and displayed top-10 speeds in the five and 10 consecutive lap average categories. Due to his practice speeds and equipment, expect Larson to compete for a top-5 finish, making him an easy and comfortable recommendation for any DFS lineup.
