Hunter Brown Picks Up Win on Tuesday
Hunter Brown turned in a quality start in his team's 11-1 win over the Athletics on Tuesday. Brown tossed six innings of one-run ball while striking out eight and walking none. He gave up six hits, with his only mistake coming in the form of a solo homer to Lawrence Butler in the fourth inning. Brown appears to be taking another step forward after a breakout season in 2024 as he now has a 7-3 record, 2.00 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and 79 strikeouts over 67 2/3 innings of work. He will look to keep it going in his next start, which will be against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday.
