For eight innings of Friday night's game between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, no runs were scored. All the action occurred in the first, as the Red Sox jumped out to a 2-0 lead. In the bottom of the frame, however, infield prodigy Gleyber Torres drilled a grand slam that rocked Yankee Stadium. It was Torres' lone hit of the night, but the most important of the game as this 4-2 lead would hold the rest of the way. The 22-year-old is poised to break his offensive records from his rookie season last year, now batting .288 with 21 home runs and 60 RBI.
